There is no NO LAW review, and there cannot be one yet. The game launches in 2027. Steam shows "no user reviews", no Metacritic or OpenCritic aggregate exists, and no review embargo has been announced, because there is no reviewable build.
That is the whole answer. Any site publishing a NO LAW review score today is fabricating it, and this page explains how to tell the difference between real pre-release coverage and generated filler.
What the review status actually is
The Steam page carries two separate signals that are easy to confuse.
"No user reviews." This is the player review section, and it is empty because nobody has played the game. It will populate after launch.
"27 Curators have reviewed this product." This is a different thing entirely. Steam Curators are community reviewers, groups or individuals who publish recommendations to followers. Their impressions of NO LAW are based on the trailers, the store page and the official description, not on playtime. A curator count is a measure of community interest, not a score.
Neither number is a review. Neither is evidence about quality.
Confirmed
NO LAW has zero user reviews and zero critic scores. Twenty-seven Steam Curators have posted pre-release impressions, which is not a review aggregate.
Why no embargo exists
Review embargoes are set when a publisher distributes review code to press ahead of launch. KRAFTON has announced none for NO LAW, which is consistent with a 2027 window.
The practical consequence is that the entire review landscape for this game is empty, and will stay empty until a few weeks before launch. There is no early access period, no review-in-progress coverage and no beta impression cycle.
How to judge pre-release coverage
Between now and launch, you will see a lot of NO LAW content that is not a review but is packaged to look like one. Three categories are worth distinguishing.
Official material is the only primary source. The Steam description, the official site FAQ, KRAFTON's press release and the Gamescom ONL 2026 gameplay trailer are the only things that tell you what the game actually is. Everything else is commentary on those.
Hands-on previews do not exist yet. There has been no announced press hands-on for NO LAW. Any article describing what the game "feels like to play" is describing the trailer.
"Is it worth it" articles are not reviews. They aggregate confirmed facts and add speculation. That can be useful, but it is not evidence, and it should say so.
To be confirmed
Review embargo date, whether review code will be distributed, any early access or beta period, and every quality metric including scores, completion times and performance benchmarks. All unannounced.
What a credible review will need
It is worth stating now what this page will look for when real reviews arrive, because it gives you a filter for reading them.
Gunplay feel. The official FAQ commits to "deeply satisfying gunplay". Whether the game delivers on its own promise is the first question any review must answer.
Whether the consequence system actually bites. KRAFTON claims choices "leave a mark" and alternate paths exist across playthroughs. A review should test whether that is structural or cosmetic.
Whether the three approaches are genuinely equivalent. Stealth, gadgets and traversal, and full-frontal chaos are all presented as viable. The interesting critical question is whether one is clearly favoured.
City density versus city scale. Port Desire is described as vertically layered rather than sprawling. That is a design choice worth evaluating on its own terms.
Technical performance on each platform. Nothing has been announced about frame rates or resolution targets on PS5, Xbox Series or PC.
What you can do instead of reading scores
Watch the Gamescom ONL 2026 gameplay trailer, which is the only extended footage that exists, and read the trailer breakdown to understand what it does and does not establish.
Read the main guide for the confirmed design shape, and the Gamescom recap for everything the show actually confirmed. Both are built on official statements rather than speculation.
Then wishlist the game and wait. A review written before anyone has played the game is not a review, and the honest position in 2026 is that nobody knows yet whether NO LAW is good.
